About Adam

Adam Hanft is a well-known cultural critic and digital media expert who writes widely on branding and social trends, and is frequently interviewed by the media for his perspective. Adam has analyzed the techniques and psychology of political messaging for The Daily Beast, CNN, Marketplace, Huffington Post, Fox News, Politics Daily and many others.  He is co-author of “Dictionary of the Future” and founder of Hanft Projects, a strategic consulting firm.

He has also created advertising for major brands that include Sony, Dow Jones, Bic, Procter & Gamble, and Olympus.  As a past practitioner of the black arts of political persuasion, Adam won a special Clio Award for innovative use of television in Nelson Rockefeller’s final gubernatorial campaign in New York.
